Calculating # of eaches for weight

Often, what you know about an inventory item is the weight per each, or the weight per standard Shipping or Receiving unit (rather than how many eaches are in a pound). You can take whatever known quantity you have and convert it to a standard weight in the SmartTurn item master.

If you know the weight per each in your standard unit, see Convert from a known weight of eaches.

If you know the weight of a non-each unit, but not the weight of an each, see Convert from a known weight of a non-each unit.

If you know the weight per each, but it is not in the same weight unit that you have standardized on for your item masters, see Convert a known weight to a standardized unit.
