Picking on a mobile device
You use picking on a mobile device during wave fulfillment processes.
To pick a pick ticket:
- From the main menu, select Fulfillment>Pick Tickets. Select a pick ticket from the list or search for the pick ticket by entering the Pick Ticket #, Transacted by, Priority, or Wave #. Select the Pick Ticket # link or click the Pick button.
- The Pick Ticket screen appears. You can choose to Show header information, or Hide header information for this pick ticket.
- In the Show header view, you can see the header fields of the pick ticket, such as Transit Location and Destination Location.
- In the Hide header view, the items on the pick ticket are listed.
- In the Hide header view, use the Show drop-down to filter the list of items.
- In the
Pick view, the items on the pick ticket that need to be picked from their original locations are listed, including ID, Description, Qty to Pick, and Orig Loc. - In the
Put view, the items on the pick ticket that are currently with you and need to be put in the their destinations are listed, including ID, Description, Qty to Pick, and BOL # / Pkg #.
- To start picking each item:
- From the
Pick view, select an item Description link from the list. - If you do not see an item, click Find Item to search for items on this pick ticket. On the Pick Ticket - Find Item screen, enter or scan the Item ID, Product ID, Serial #, Description, Orig Loc, and/or BOL #, then select OK.
- If the item being picked is Outbound ID Controlled, select Pick Details and then Add OB IDs to scan or enter in the identifier for each unit being picked. When you save the IDs, they are validated against the Outbound ID settings defined in the item master. An item that is Outbound ID Controlled requires a unique identifier for each unit on a shipment during the outbound process.
- On the Pick Ticket Item - Pick View screen, select Pick Start to move the Qty Picked of this item to the Transit Location.
- The Pick Ticket Hide header screen appears. Repeat these steps for each item to pick.
- Select Save to save the changes to the pick ticket. The pick ticket item is
Started.
- To pick short:
- On the Pick Ticket Item - Pick View screen, select Pick Details.
- On the details screen, enter the Qty Picked. This is the amount that you are actually taking from the location.
- Select Save to return to the Pick View screen.
- Select Pick Start to move the Qty Picked of this item to the Transit Location. The system displays a warning message if you are picking short while picking for a sales order that is required to ship complete.
- The Pick Ticket Hide header screen appears.
- Select Save to save the changes to the pick ticket. The pick ticket item is
Started.
- To cancel a pick:
- On the Pick Ticket Item - Pick View screen, select Pick Details.
- On the details screen, select the cancel icon
at the far right of the item. - The Pick Ticket Hide header screen appears.
- Select Save to save the changes to the pick ticket. The pick ticket item is
Cancelled. The system displays a warning message if you are cancelling a pick for a sales order that is required to ship complete.
- To finish picking each item:
- From the
Put view, select an item Description link from the list. - If you do not see an item, click Find Item to search for items on this pick ticket. On the Pick Ticket - Find Item screen, enter or scan the Item ID, Product ID, Serial #, Description, Orig Location, and/or BOL #, then select OK.
- On the Pick Ticket Item - Put View screen, select Pick Finish to move the Qty Picked of this item to the Destination Location.
- The Pick Ticket Hide header screen appears. Repeat these steps for each item to put.
- Select Save to save the changes to the pick ticket. The pick ticket item is
Closed.
