Viewing the correct warehouse data
Before you perform any action using SmartTurn, you want to make sure that you are viewing the correct warehouse data.
You can select the warehouse view from the Warehouse drop-down up above.

To view information across all warehouses, select All warehouses. Note, you need to have the permission to view all warehouses.
Setting a default warehouse
To set the warehouse data you see by default, under My Account up above, select another default warehouse from the warehouse drop-down. If there is only one warehouse, you only have access to one warehouse. If you know you have access to all warehouses, you don't see the warehouse you need, you may need to add a warehouse.
Data that is viewed across all warehouses vs. data that is warehouse-specific
The following record types are created and viewed across all warehouses:
- Item Masters
- Customers and Vendors
- Users
- Sales Orders
This means that if you create a sales order, item master or customer, users can view that record regardless which warehouse they have selected.
The following record types are warehouse-specific:
- Locations - You must set up locations for each warehouse. If you are viewing data for one warehouse, you can only see the locations for that warehouse.
- Purchase Orders - A purchase order created for a warehouse can only be viewed and received into that warehouse.
- Receipts - You need to have a specific warehouse selected to create a receipt.
- Shipments - You need to have a specific warehouse selected to create a shipment.
- License Numbers - You need to have a specific warehouse selected to create a license number.
- Cycle Counts - You need to have a specific warehouse selected to cycle count inventory.
- Kits - You need to have a specific warehouse selected to create a kit.
